Amaz’n results in Seattle

In a city synonymous with innovation (think: cream cheese on hotdogs and Amazon), four days and some seriously smart minds can achieve incredible things.

Seattle — a city synonymous with sleeplessness, Starbucks, the Space Needle, Nirvana, rain, more rain… and Amazon. The latter being the reason Jen found herself 16 hours from home with a mild case of the former.

We live in an age of connection — geography is no barrier to collaboration. But wonderful things tend to happen when you round people up and put them in a room together with unlimited coffee and post-it notes, and the four days spent at Amazon were no exception.

While can’t talk about the work, we’d like to talk about Jasmine. She’s an absolute powerhouse who we’ve had the pleasure of working with for years, back when she was Global Corporate Environmental Manager at PepsiCo. Her ability to foster connection within her team and organisation, and her unshakable belief in humans, is truly inspiring.

While the team is looking forward to the work ahead, Jen is looking forward to heading back for unfinished business at Serious Pie.
